Minimum requirements include:
– KCSE Grade D and above
– Physically fit; Height 5ft 9” Male and 5ft 7” Female
– Age between 24 to 40 years
– Testimonials from Community leaders; at least 2 referees
– Certificate of Police Clearance
– Oral interviews and fast dictation to gauge literacy 2nd step of selection
– Physical fitness drills and medicals conducted
– Two – week examinable Basic Security Training
– Course; pass mark at 60%
– 2nd level background checks; certificates, past employers, referees, police
